Apparently the last time I updated this I graduated high school. And seeing as I'm heading into my second semester of school and have so much more going on in life I thought I'd say hello. Well it's Christmas Eve so I put up a quick comic that took me like twenty minutes in honor of ugly sweaters and cute Disney couples.
As for me, I'm mostly working on writing but I try to update my art blog as often as possible. I don't get on here a lot. I've also been selling pieces on Society 6 but I'll link to that another time since it needs a major update and clean out. Oh dear is there anything worth saying? I'm not sure, but I've missed you dA. I'll try to come on here more.

Just thought I'd get an update up here.
Well I've officially graduated high school! Crazy isn't it? Wow. I still can't quite believe it.
And now I have more time to draw! Except I have to return the school's mac and lovely tablet. And until my laptop comes in and I gather enough money I won't be able to draw on the computer for awhile. Ugh! Why do I have to have such a crappy scanner? I'm considering buying a new one but as I am moving I figured I should just wait.
Anyway that's about it. I'm moving soon. That hasn't quite hit me yet either. Well alright... I need to update so on to that!

Oh hello. I'm back from the dead! I've really just been so busy that I don't have much time to draw or go on deviantart. And what time I do have left I have to fill with others things. I do have some things to share though and some portraits coming, but this isn't about that.
This is about blogs.
I'm trying to get into the habit of blogging because quite honestly I really like blogging. I have a few blogs so if you're interested in following them then please do so!
Writing Blog - janinemimi.blogspot.com/ - this is my personal blog really. I talk about writing, sometimes about life, my goals, and I always share a bit of sneak preview of what I'm writing. Usually it's stuff that will appear on Wattpad. And I share little small things on there too that I don't write anywhere else. It's my go to place though I've been neglecting it lately. I also write book reviews on there.
Art Blog - bustlespasms.tumblr.com/ - My art blog. All of my artwork is posted on there before here. And (until recently when I finally got another tumblr) I post some inspiration. Usually Disney stuff. Or stuff that inspires me from the 40s/50s/60s. Or Frank Sinatra. But I'm changing that now so you'll only find art. And well things that inspire art. But not the fashion stuff anymore.
Fashion Blog - dragonflyfreedom.tumblr.com/ - I've wanted to do a fashion blog since I first started blogging. I've only just begun and I've yet to get photos to put on but I definitely plan to. Right now it's just my fashion inspiration. Expect to see a lot of vintage fashion, Marina Diamandis, Audrey Hepburn, and random stuff.
So there are my blogs with a mini description. Please follow! I can't guarantee a follow back. I'm very picky about what blogs I follow. So I guess what I should really say is please consider following.

I haven't done one of these in FOREVER. Alright, let's do this.
11 Facts about me:
1. The majority of the music I listen to is from the 60s and earlier. Especially the 50s. I have a thing for the oldies. I think the oldest music I listen to (outside of classical music) is jazz music from the jazz age.
2. My favorite singer of all time is Frank Sinatra. Hands down. No competition. I ADORE Frank Sinatra. I could listen to him forever.
3. I attend cyber school and have been for two years now. If you're ever considering talk to me about it. I have a LOT to say about cyber school. xD
4. I was obsessed with Rapunzel as a kid. No, seriously. Prior to my Tangled obsession I was really into Rapunzel. I was Rapunzel for Halloween one year. So naturally Tangled became an instant favorite
5. Audrey Hepburn is my idol. But Elizabeth Taylor is my fashion icon.
6. I'm starting a collection of vintage clothing. So far I have three vintage dresses and a few items that pull off that vintage look. I'm going for a 50s/early 60s look.
7. My favorite bands of all time are The Hush Sound, Meg & Dia, and The Beatles. I have other favorites but they top the list.
8. I can impersonate Gerard Butler's voice. I'm 100% serious about this. It's just not easy.
9. My favorite modern show is Hart of Dixie. I'm also in love with Once Upon a Time. And my all time favorite show is Happy Days. That has to be the best thing about the 70s.
10. I'm embarrassed by the 70s.
11. Outside of Audrey Hepburn (and one time I did Katharine Hepburn) I can only do portraits of males. Not sure why. I think they just have a much more interesting facial structure. Plus they don't wear make up.

1) Your favourite dessert?
Arroz Con Leche or something from Rita's.
2) The last movie you watched in cinema?
Um... I think it was Beauty and the Beast in 3D. Or Sherlock Holmes. I can't remember.
3) A fictional character you'd like to be friend with?
Dustfinger from Ink Heart. I just love all of his complexities. And he's my favorite literary character.
4) Your favourite love song?
I guess Moonlight Serenade? Both the Glenn Miller version and Frank Sinatra version.
5) Your favourite myths god/goddess?
Ooh! Good question! I love Aphrodite, mostly because of the Ares - Aphrodite - Hephaestus thing. I just always felt bad for Ares since he was hated. I love Eros too, just because he's Eros. And I love Apollo and the story of him and Daphne. But my favorites would have to be Hades and Persephone. I'd like to think they were really in love. Or that she eventually came to love him.
I realize that's only Greek Mythology so I want to point out that while there is an argument as to whether they are gods or goddesses, I love Oberon and Titania and Queen Mab. Go fairies! And I'm too lazy to name the favorites from all the mythologies I love. EXCEPT THOR AND LOKI! THOOOOOOOOOR! (I'm saying that a la Chris Hemsworth's Thor)
6) Your genderbent name?
Sean Luke. My parents wanted to name me after a Star Trek character if I was a boy.
7) Your astrological sign?
Capricorn.
8) Favourite season?
Autumn and winter. The colors of Autumn are just so beautiful and it has my favorite color! Red! And winter has a sinister beauty. Sigh...
9) A line of the song you have in your head right now, haha!!?
